ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system covering design, manufacture, and delivery of thermoelectric modules.
MIL-STD-883 Test Summary
Selected Interm TEC modules pass MIL-STD-883 environmental and mechanical testing, including thermal shock, vibration, and hermeticity screening.
MTBF Statement
Documented mean time between failures of ≥200,000 hours under standard operating conditions, calculated per Telcordia SR-332 methodology with field return data from production shipments.
RoHS Compliance Declaration
Standard catalog modules comply with EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. High-temperature variants (Tmax=150°C) are exempt per Annex III due to the physical requirements of lead-containing solders at elevated temperatures.
Manufacturing & Testing Processes
100% Final Test
Every Interm module passes a full electrical test before shipment. Performance parameters (dTmax, Qmax, Imax, Vmax) are measured at ambient and verified against specification limits.
Harman Method
We use the Harman AC/DC measurement technique to verify the thermoelectric figure of merit (ZT) on production modules, confirming material quality and junction integrity at the device level.
Vertical Integration
Interm is one of fewer than 5 manufacturers globally that grow their own Bi₂Te₃ semiconductor material. Full control from crystal growth to finished module eliminates supply chain variance.
